The elementary put on a wonderful Veterans Day Assembly. Besides recognizing each branch of the armed services, a slide show of community members and family members who have served in the armed forces, each class sand a song or recited a poem.
Gavin and the second graders sang Yankee Doodle.
Grace and the 4th Graders sang This Land Is Your Land
The 6th Grade recited the poem The Raged Old Flag. James recited the first stanza.
When it was over we all went outside and a 21 gun salute was done.
