We were unable to camp over night this year up at the Range, but were so happy that we made it up for the day to spend time with family and enjoy being out in nature.
Side story: Jeremy took Grace and Gavin down to the carrels to shoot the BB gun. When they got there Grace and Jeremy stopped to shoot, and Gavin did not want to stop. Jeremy was not worried about him and thought they would catch up with him. Before long Jeremy and Grace went to find him and got to the gate to our property and still had not found him. He sent Grace back to camp. She told me about it and I was trying not to panic and started out to look for them. Having all kind of visions on Gavin lost in the hills and never finding him. Thankfully we quickly ran into Jeremy and Gavin. Gavin had passed the gate and just kept walking down the road. Jeremy even found some other people four wheeling who saw him and did not stop him, but did stop and tell Jeremy they had seen him. Thankfully Gavin stayed on the road and Jeremy could see his Spiderman shoe prints in the dirt. By the time Jeremy found Gavin he was headed back up the road. It is so scary to think what could have happened.
