Grand Teton

Tami and Jayson Nielsen with their kids came to stay with us for a few days. They took a day trip to Yellowstone one day and just hung out with us for a few days. One of they days the kids and I were able to go with them on a day trip to Teton National Park. We wished Jeremy could have come with us, but he stayed home and worked hard.

Reaching the top of the Teton Pass and being above the clouds was breathtaking. I wish I was not driving and could have taken a picture. Our first stop was Jenny Lake. We decided to ride the fairy across the lake. The kids loved that. We hiked up to Hidden Falls and then half way up to Inspiration Point. I am always proud of my older kids as they help the younger kids and carry extra stuff so that we can all make it. On our way back down it started pouring. The pouring rain made everyone want to get out of there and the line to ride the fairy back. We stood in the rain for so long, but we finally made it back and dried off.

We had planned to go to string lake, but the kids were tired and hungary, so we drove the loop. We drove up to Signal Mountain and finished our time in the park at Mormon Row.

We got separated from Tami and Jayson when we were going through Jackson. On our way down the Idaho side of the Teton Pass Grace got sick and puked a lot! We had to stop at the first gas station and try to clean out the car and clean grace off. It required a full cleaning the next day.

It was a fun day, but so nice to get home to Jeremy.
