Football

The 6th graders played in the 6th grade B league. Ethan has really improved and had a great year. He played both ways and on special teams. We wished his team did more passing, but he did great when the ball was thrown to him and had some really great returns on kick offs. This is the first year that his team made it to the play offs. They did not win that game, but they sure played hard. They went (6-2) this season. Losing 1 season game and the playoff game, but winning 5 season games and the consolation game.

This was James' first year of Grid Kid football. His team was made up of mostly 4th graders, but a few 5th graders, so they had to play up against other 5th grade teams. In the 5th Grade B League. It was a learning year for them, but James loved it. It was fun to see him enjoy something so much. He played both ways and on the special teams. Almost never coming out. The high light of the season was the few times he got to do a big guy dive. They did not win any games during the season or their consolation game (0-7), but you never would have know that by their attitudes.
