Elementary Christmas Concert

 

The elementary had a short Christmas music concert for the grades that get to take music. Grace was the only one to participate from our family. Her and the 4th grade played The Dreidel Song on their recorders. 

Christmas Dress Up Days

Some fun dress up days in December. 

December 9th -  Elementary Ugly Sweeter Day

(James won for 6th grade)

December 13th - Elementary Dress like an Elf or Reindeer

(Grace won a prize for top 4 costumes in the school)

December 15th - Elementary Christmas Pajama Day

December 16th - Second Grade Pajama Day (Two days in a row of Pajamas) & Grace had Grinch day (dress green) but we did not get a picture

Jr. High Dress Up Days for the last week of school before Christmas break were: 

Monday - Red Day

Tuesday - Hat Day

Wednesday - Green Day

Thursday - Pajama Day

Friday - Ugly Sweeter day

For the most part Ethan looked like this every day that week. 
 

Hyrum 4 Year Old

How old are you?  Holds up 4 fingers. How many is that? 4

What is your favorite color? red

What is your favorite food? Pancakes 

Who is your best friend? Marshall (Johnson) and Brock (Summers) and Ann (Cook). I am done. I only have those friends. I only have those friends mom.

Where is your favorite place to eat?  At Pizza. I don't actually like pancakes I like pizza. I like pizza when we get it. 

What is your favorite thing to do? Like to play with my friends.

What is your favorite animal? Like a tiger with sharp nails. Those ones, but they attack them, but I like them. 

What is your favorite toy? That robot, but it's red. Him.

What is your favorite movie? Sonic, Sonic, mom

What is your favorite TV Show? Sonic, mom Sonic, Sonic, Sonic, Sonic.

What do you help mom with? When you get a dirty floor I help her and when the laundry is really clean and dirty I help her. 

What do you help dad with? I really can't say it, but what is it. I don't know tell me about it. When he is going I give him a hug. 

What is your favorite song? skip

What is your favorite treat? a sucker. I love suckers so much. 

What is your favorite drink?  Soda. mom soda, but what kind, Sprite

What do you sleep with at night? My sunny bee

Where is your favorite place to visit? Lets skip that one. Two skipped. 

Who is your teacher?  I'm not going at school yet. What about at primary. I don't know lets skip it. Skip, skip, skip

What do you like to do with your family? play hide and seek with them.

What makes you happy? when no one hurt me

What makes you sad? when someone hurts me.

What is your favorite book? Christmas

What do you like to learn about? let's skip it because I can't really do it. 

What was the best part of your birthday? My best part is eating a cake.

6th Grade Field Trip

 

I was so happy to get to tag along on James' 6th grade field trip as a chaperon. We went to BYU - Idaho and toured the geology department, Christmas Tree Lane and went to the planetarium. When we were done at BYU - Idaho we had lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe. 

Community Christmas Celebration

Mondays really are so busy and Ethan had a basketball game in Rexburg, so him and Jeremy were gone. Grace desperately wanted to be a shepherded in the community Nativity, so we did our best and made it there in time for her to get instruction. We were not able to make it in time to go to the Bethlehem town activities, but the Nativity was lovely as always. 

 

Willow Creek Ward Christmas Party

 We had a nice Ward Christmas Party with yummy food and a nice program. The best part was Hyrum singing both songs as an echo to everyone else. Nice and loud and perfectly echoing everyone else. It was so cute and funny. Gavin was a little embarrassed, but everyone else in the ward loved it. 

Christmas Literacy Night

Monday nights are always busy, but we wanted to get to the Schools Literacy Night. We were to late for some things, but we did get to make bracelets, got a free book, talked to Santa and wrote him a letter just in case he forgot what we asked him for. James had a basketball game, so him and Jeremy were in Rexburg and Ethan chose not to come.
