I have not been very good about blogging this summer, so I thought I would just give you a quick little overview of our summer.
Summer Movies - We bought a sum summer movies passes from the Ririe Youth Coalition this year. The pass made each ticket 65 cents! We had fun going to lots of movies this summer and not having to worried about making to much noise because there were lots of little kids. We saw: Secret World of Arrietty, Happy Feet 2, Alvin and the Chipmunks, We Bought a Zoo, Hugo, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax (The boy's favorite of all the movies this summer), The Pirates! Band of Misfits, and The Smurfs.
Bill Cosby - Jeremy and I enjoyed going to see Bill Cosby at BYU-Idaho in June. So funny and just plain clean entertainment.
Moving - My brother Jakob and his family bought a home in Egin, Idaho and we helped them move from their apartment to their new home in June. Then in July we helped my sister Tami and her husband move to Pocatello, Idaho for an internship with the ISU athletic department.
Bike - Ethan has gotten really good at riding his bike and wants to be out there on it as much as possible.
You have to love his outfit.
Keeping Cool - It has been a hot summer, so we have spent a lot of time in the water and eating pop sickles.
Painting our driveway with sidewalk paint in water balloons.
Pinata water balloons.
Playing in the sprinkler and kiddy pool.
Water and dirt make mud.
Carbon Monoxide - As the Elders Quorum President in our ward Jeremy is always busy helping people. One night Jeremy went down to help our neighbors because their crawl space was flooding. (It has been the driest summer ever and they are flooding I really don't know how that happened. We got no flooding at our house.) They were using a pump to remove the water. They made a bad decision to put the pump in the craw space with them. Jeremy said he knew it was not a good idea, but it was not his house. After Jeremy came home he had a head ac, but nothing more. Our neighbors called to say they were going to the hospital to be checked for carbon monoxide poisoning. There were admitted to the hospital and called and wanted to have Jeremy come in. He never would even thought he started throwing up. I guess he was fine after the carbon monoxide got through his system, but I did not sleep well all night worrying about him. After being released from the hospital our neighbors were also fine. Jeremy went back to help them the next day, but they put the pump outside not down in the crawl space.
Rexburg Rapids - For family home evening one night we took the boys to Rexburg Rapids. They had a lot of fun, and for once Ethan was a lot more brave than James. We could not get him to stop going down the green slide. James would go down the read slide, but only with Jeremy and Ethan.
Jeremy's Birthday - Jeremy did not really want much for his birthday, but to go to Batman Dark Night Rising, so we did, followed by frozen yogurt. The next day we got to go to dinner just the two of us. It was nice to spend some time together with out our boys.
Girls Camp - Jeremy went to girls camp as a priesthood holder this year. Don't feel bad for him. Girls camp was at a ritzy cabin in Alpine Wyoming.
Baby Shower - My mother-in-law Shelley, Sister-in-laws Michele, Wendy, Mandi and Angie, and my sister Tami were so nice to throw me a baby shower for this little girl that should be here the end of September. The invitations and decorations were so cute, the games were fun and the food was yummy. On top of that we got a lot of nice things for our little girl.
Sleep Overs With Cousins - Ethan and James were able to go down to Pocatello for two nights to stay with their Grandpa and Grandma Furniss. Lucky them their cousins also got to come over some of the time. Then Ethan went down to spend four nights at his cousins house. This gave us some one on one time with James. Something he does not get a lot of. I think it was fun for them to have sleep overs with cousins.
Celebrate Youth - Madison has a big party the day before school starts every year. This was our first year going, but it will not be our last. Everything is free! They have a kids carnival, dinner, raffle, a dance latter for the older kids, etc. We had a lot of fun, and you just cant go wrong when it is all free.

So much fun and I love that we can be a part of some of it, and see the rest of what you have been up too. Love your family, can't wait to hold your little girl.
Wow that shower looked like fun! J/K so glad that we could see you so much this summer. Can't wait for that girl to get here either.
