Ririe Elementary Festive Dress Up Days

On December 6th we got a call telling us that Grace had been exposed to COVID and would have to Quarantine for 14 day. The next day I went into the school and got more information. Graces reading teacher had tested positive for COVID and because was with in 6 feet of her for more than 15 minutes she was required to quarantine. Grace was heart broken to be missing all the Christmas fun at school. With all the craziness we missed the first dress up day in December. It was Christmas hats or something. Grace dressed up at home anyway and the boys dressed up for school. Thankfully Grace never got sick and the boys were able to go to school.

December 8th: Ugly Christmas Sweeter Day

December 10th: Red & Green Day

We were so happy to get the news that the school district changed their policy and Grace was able to go back to school after only 11 days of quarantine.

December 15th: Dress Like An Elf Day

December 17th: Dress Like Santa Day

James won a prize for one of the top three best dressed Santa's

Ethan was busy in December with student council. They chose the dress up days, picked the winners of each dress up day and did two different days of assemblies where they played Reindeer games. Each grade had their own assembly, so it took most of the day. Gavin got to play two different games and Grace played one.
