Gavin played coach pitch in a Ucon league this year. It was his first year playing coach pitch and he did well. He thought he wanted to be outfield because he has a good arm and can through it a long way. That is true, but after a few games he realized no one hits it out there, so they let him try infilled. He struck out a few times, but most of the time managed to hit and get on base. He really liked catching and was even able catch a few balls that the coach was pitching.
