Arizona Trip

For part of our fall break we took three of our kids (James, Grace & Gavin) on their first flight and all of our kids on the first flight they remembered. It was hard to have Ethan miss his Grid Kid Football game, but to make it all work we had to leave right after James' game and miss Ethan's.

We drove to the Salt Lake Airport and made it through security with our large family. We had to walk to the very end of of the airport. Thankfully we were given seats by each other and our flight to Las Vegas went smoothly.

We just had enough time to find our gate, grab some food and us the bathroom before boarding the plane to Arizona. Tami picked us up there and we made it to their house in Queens Creek.

Tami and Jayson blessed their baby boy Logan in their home on Conference weekend. I was able to share my testimony after he was blessed.

It was also Grace's 10th birthday so we celebrated later that day.

Monday we were off to hike in the San Tan Mountain Regional Park. It was hot, but we enjoyed the landscape that was so different than Idaho.

We went back to Jayson & Tami's to cool off and have lunch.

Then the kids favorite part. Swimming at the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center. We stayed until closing and a dust storm started up.

Jayson drove us to the airport bright and early Tuesday morning and we backtracked back home with a flight to Las Vegas, Then Salt Lake and a drive home.
