Our baby boy is now two years old! I don't know what has happened with the time. We had a small family birthday party for him on Sunday the 27th the day before his real birthday. We are so thankful for all of the family that came to help us celebrate Ethan's birthday. It was very low key, but fun. Ethan had fun playing with balloons before we started. Then we grilled some hamburgers and hot dogs. It was a little windy outside, but we managed. Then it was time to open presents. Ethan opened his first gift and found a pair of water shoes from Grandma and Grandpa Avery. He had to put them on right then. The cute thing was after he got them on he put the lid back on the box and was trying to put the wrapping paper back on. He also got a life jacket from Grandma and Grandpa Avery. Water wings, beach ball, and floaty ring from his Aunt Mandi and Uncle Drew. Two cute summer outfits and a dump truck from his Aunt Michele and Uncle Brandon. Cool cars and a track to run them on from the Lee family. Grandma and Grandpa Furniss got him a push four wheeler and a turtle sandbox. Mom and dad gave him a shirt and a t-ball stand, balls, and a bat. Great Grandma Avery sent a birthday card, and Great Grandma and Grandpa Neibaur sent a card and money. I think he was very spoiled and loved all of his gifts.
He finally got his two candles blown out on his doggy birthday cake. At lest he did not try and touch the candles like last year. 
After eating cake and ice cream and playing with his toys it was time for everyone to go home. We are so glad they all came, and missed those who could not be there. 
On Ethan's real birthday we drove into Rexburg to pick up Jeremy after he go off work. We took Ethan to the splash park were he got to use his new water shoes. He did not really like getting splashed with the water, but thought it was funny to see other kids slide and get splashed. He quickly found the carousel and we let him have a ride. Then we got out his T-ball things and let him hit the ball. He can really hit it far some times. We also played on the toys at the park until mom and dad finally dragged him away. We took him out to Bambinos to have dinner then over to Dairy Queen to use up the rest of our gift card for some ice cream. He was wiped out by the time we got in the car to come home. I think he had a good birthday both of the times we celebrated it. (Our camera was not working so not photos of this day).

How fun! Time does go by really fast, doesn't it? I'm glad both days went so well.
