Soccer

 We did Soccer in Ririe this summer. It is just a small league, but it is fun for the kids to play with their friends. Gavin was one of the best players on our team as long as we can keep him focused.  I was able to coach Gavin's soccer team and loved all the kids. Here is a list of kids on our team: Madelyn Nelson, Bristol Summers, Harper Gallup, Gavin Furniss, Escher Knudsen, Parker Snyder, Slade Newton, Kyler Brown and Oakley Guinn.

Grace played and had a lot of fun, but was sad she never made a goal this year. She played hard and was great at defense and passing the ball. Plus, she is just happy all the time and makes everyone else happy to be around her.

James team struggled to win, but he had fun and played so hard. He really understands the game and where he should be or pass the ball. He got a little aggressive sometimes, but so fun to watch him play.

Ethan chose to be a Referee this year and it was a learning experience for him. He did a great job even when he was yelled at by coaches. handled himself way better than I thought he would. He is still young and learning, but he is growing up and it is a bitter-sweet thing to see.
